Driving Licence Minimum Ages and Classification of Vehicles.


Shown below are the MINIMUM ages that have to be attained to drive different types of vehicle in Cyprus and the driving licence vehicle classifications. They are NOT the same as the UK.
If you are 17 years old and hold a FULL UK licence for a car you CANNOT drive in Cyprus until you are 18.

24th March 2010 - The law has changed to allow those residents of Cyprus who are 17.5 years of age to apply for a learner licence to drive cars. However, a driver cannot take the driving test until attaining the age of 18.
