Report Unroadworthy Vehicles - Call free 1415.


Road safety and cleaner air is the right and responsibility of all. The Department of Road Transport, through the telephone line 1415, enables all citizens to report anonymously all vehicles which you see driving on public roads and showing evident signs of being defective.

The reporting process is simple. Call the free telephone number 1415. After the recorded message, state clearly, vehicle registration number which you wish to report.

These vehicles will be properly investigated and accordingly will be invited for extraordinary technical examination. The aim is to ensure road safety and avoidance of air pollution.

Some examples of items that can be reported are the following:
