Visitors Driving Licences

Visitors can drive using an EU issued national FULL driving licence or a current international driving licence, provided that the licence is valid for the class of vehicle, and they have reached the minimum age for the classification of vehicle they intend to drive.

The ages are not the same as in the UK. For example, you must be 18 to drive a car or small motorcycle in Cyprus.

Licences from these countries are also valid. The list of valid licences can change, so there may be others that arealso valid. Check with the DoRT.

Provisional / Learner Driving Licences are only valid in the country of issue.
