Cyprus Traffic Laws - Offences, Fines and Points.

Here is a list of the main traffic offences in Cyprus. This list is not exhaustive but is a comprehensive guide.

I have highlighted several offences in red that may be of interest to visitors.

Some of the offences listed without penalty points may attract them at a later date. For some offences the fine may also be increased but it is correct at 1st Sept 2008.

It should also be noted that the court can disqualify drivers or suspend driving licences in Cyprus.

Drink driving. The limit is lower than UK.
